About this Church
Redemption Hill Church is a community of people who love Jesus and love our city. We are in the heart of Washington D.C. and committed reach and reflect this place, praying that God will move to bring healing, hope and restoration. Our church has the privilege to gather each week in the historic Ebenezer UMC building at 4th & D St SE. The challenging and charged environment of the capital city provides rich opportunities to work out the implications of the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ with nuance and love. D.C. is fast-paced, high intensity and an exciting place to see God at work. The work we do here has an impact that reaches around the world. Redemption Hill has helped plant churches in major cities around the world and we are making plans for a new plant here in D.C. in the coming year.
Our church is nearing its 10th anniversary. We can’t wait to see what is in store for us as we look toward the end of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Take some time to get to know us by browsing the website. If you want to join the RHC family, send in a cover letter and resume.
