Participate in the weekly worship coordination process to ensure the promotion of The Orchard’s worship values. This includes but is not limited to:
a. Actively participate in the weekly worship service review meeting. Plan to offer feedback about the previous service. Prepare to discuss details of future services
b. Input song selections and lyric order for slides when leading
c. Lead/participate in rehearsal with the band, vocalists and tech team (A/V and media)
d. Lead/participate in worship team in setup and teardown of instrumentation
e. Lead/participate in sound check in coordination with tech team
Assist with the recruitment and training of musicians, vocalists and other volunteer worship leaders who participate on the worship team.
Assist in the development of the worship team, as needed, to regularly produce high-quality, dynamic and enthusiastic worship music consistent with The Orchard’s values.
Take an active role in leading contemporary worship at the Primary Campus, leading two times per month and supporting other campuses (leading/participating) on the other weeks, as needed.
Other duties as assigned by the Managing Pastor. These activities may include, but are not limited to, assisting with worship planning for special services or events at any campus (Pray First, Staff Meetings, Membership Meetings) and supporting ministries with worship teams (Awana, Youth Groups, Celebrate Recovery, etc.) Weekly schedules will vary depending on where and when you are leading.
