About this Church
Grace Community Evangelical Church is located in Lake Katrine, New York two hours from New York City and nestled in the heart of New York’s physically beautiful but spiritually barren Hudson Valley. As committed followers of Jesus, we are committed to His call to go and make disciples (Matt. 28). As such we seek to call individuals to Christian discipleship, grow obediently in community and impact the world through service. Our vision is to see the gospel advanced locally and globally to the glory of Christ.
The church, consisting of between 200 and 300 people, is a mix of younger families and older more seasoned Christ-followers and is well established in our community. With roots in a Sunday School planted in the 1830s, Grace Church was established and conducted service in a local Grange Hall in 1958. The fellowship built its first building and occupied it for services in 1962. After 45 years in that location, we built a new building and occupied it in 2007. Grace Church offers a wide array of ministries designed to equip believers and seek the lost.
