Youth and Worship Pastor

The Youth Minister:

• Work in conjunction with the Children’s Minister to connect the Children's program of Odessa Bible Church to a vibrant Junior High and High School Ministry (6th-12th grade)
• Lead in reaching into the community through making contact with Junior and High Schools to develop relationships with principles, coaches, faculty, etc.
• Develop a strategic program that furthers the spiritual development of our students through discipleship, solid Bible teaching and relationships (i.e. consumers to producers)
• Encourage the participation and involvement of parents through effective communication, planning and team building
• Maintain a digital presence (Facebook, OdessaBible.org, etc) website regarding the Youth Ministry
• Work in conjunction with the Elder Board and Pastor to further the vision of Odessa Bible Church
• Use talents and giftedness to help Odessa Bible Church grow both spiritually and numerically

Worship Leader:

• Lead weekly rehearsal and Sunday morning worship
• Develop a team of singers and musicians to lead worship
• Become competent in Planning Center
• Provide content of worship service to Media Director
• Work in conjunction with the Elder Board and Pastor to further the vision of Odessa Bible Church
