Job Description
Overview
The Executive Pastor's role is to reflect the heart of the Lead Pastor. He is the Lead Pastor's chief representative, main confidant, most reliable associate and chief implementation officer. He will strategically guide eFree staff towards healthy evaluation and goal setting. This individual will need to be effective at mentoring, equipping and developing future leaders.

Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree with a willingness to pursue theological training through Evangelical Free Church of America
Responsibilities
Scope of Responsibility:
- Strategy and Vision
- Bring unity and coordination to the key departments of communications, facilities, finance, technology and staffing
- Organize strategic planning initiatives
- Partner with Lead Pastor and Strategic Planning Team to provide implementation of the mission, vision and core values to the staff and church
- Identify and implement ways to better the organization
- Staff Management
- Oversee the hiring, development and termination of all staff, excluding the Lead Pastor and Executive Pastor.
- Manage and cast vision for staff reports
Financial Assistant
Technology Director
Communications Director
Office Manager
Director of Facilities
Pastor of Worship Arts (TBD) - Lead staff meetings, training and regular staff development
- Manage Employee Manual policies and updates
- Develop and implement general office policies and procedures
- Manage annual and mid-year reviews
- Actively develop, mentor and problem solve with staff leaders
- Program Management
- Oversee and improve the Internship program
- Oversee the Ministry Resident program
- Financial Management
- Attend Administration & Finance Team meetings
- Guide and direct annual budgeting
- Present annual budget to the congregation
- Responsible for church financial health and management
- Approve accounts payable and sign checks as necessary (current Treasurer’s role)
- Oversee and manage all church salary, employment and human resources issues except Lead Pastor and Executive Director
- Facilities Management
- Manage and direct large facility improvements and renovations
- Maintain and implement Long Term Property Maintenance List
- Other
- Lead the Security Team
- Attend additional ministry team and governance meetings as assigned
- Perform other duties as assigned
