About this Church

Grace Community Church of New Ulm, Minnesota is a growing Evangelical Free Church that started as a church plant in 2013. Currently, we have over 200 active attenders, firmly committed to the authority of Scripture. We are a healthy congregation, not old enough to be stuck in tradition, seeking to “major on the majors” and keeping Jesus Christ central in everything we teach and preach. Our mission is to equip our people to live out the gospel by “Pursuing Jesus and Life-Giving Relationships.” Two years ago, an attractive church facility was purchased and paid for. Our first pastor retired after 13 years of planting and establishing the church body. Currently, we are seeking to fill a new position of ministry coordinator to assist the interim pastor and the next pastor.

New Ulm (pop. 14,000) is located along the scenic Minnesota River valley in the middle of the beautiful farmland of Southern Minnesota. It is a safe tidy town of German heritage and known as the “Most German City of Minnesota” with its celebrated festivals of food and music. New Ulm is only 25 miles from Mankato (pop. 45K) and 90 miles from the Minneapolis/St. Paul airport.
