Ministry Associate
Job Description
Antioch Church in the Countryside YMCA is seeking applications for a Ministry Associate. The primary responsibility of the ministry associate will be hands-on involvement and oversight of the Junior High (Ignite) ministry, support for a growing culture of extraordinary prayer and support for the different equipping classes offered at Antioch. The ministry associate will also fulfill the roles of a servant leader at Antioch during the course of employment. The expectation is that this position will begin at 20 hours/week.
At Antioch, we strive to match the model provided throughout the New Testament and specifically by the church in Antioch, as described in Acts 11:19-30 and Acts 13:1-3. We pray this is reflected in our mission, worship, members, staff, teaching and outreach. We also pray it is reflected in our policies, governance and job descriptions.

Support and Enhance a Culture of Extraordinary Prayer
- There is a growing culture of extraordinary prayer at Antioch - in Prayer Barns, at the YMCA, in homes and in other spaces. Give leadership and support to this growing culture of extraordinary prayer.
- The YMCA was born out of a prayer movement. We desire to see this passion for prayer reignited in the Countryside YMCA. The ministry associate will start a YMCA prayer meeting toward this end.
