Job Description

The EFCA national office is seeking a part-time Donor Services Associate II to provide detailed revenue accounting, ensuring timely and accurate processing of donations using computers and software systems, and maintaining and providing excellent service to internal and external EFCA customers.

Start Date: ASAP
Hours Per Week: 25
Benefits: Accrued sick time
Pay range: $19 - $21 per hour

Duties:

  • Effectively handle diverse gift contributions for deposit and recording.
  • Assist processing mail contribution entry: receive, open mail daily and accurately enter contributions in Raiser’s Edge software.
  • Communicate decline transactions via email/phone with donors from BBMS and PayPal.
  • Perform accurate and efficient data entry into Raiser’s Edge software to uphold data integrity.
  • Complete assigned revision/clean-up projects generated by query searches, special projects, etc., where missing, incomplete or inaccurate data exists in the constituent’s record.
  • Manage and process obituaries, memorials and communicate effectively with EFCA constituents.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure donor funds are properly designated throughout the organization.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to donors, internal team members and EFCA-affiliated personnel, via phone, email and in-person.
  • Perform a variety of office clerical support duties to assist in the accomplishment of the Donor Services goals.

Skills and Education Requirements:

  • Alignment with and commitment to the mission and values of the EFCA
  • High school diploma required.
  • Must have completed two years of college or have equivalent years of experience.
  • Minimum of one year experience in database operations required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in a business-like manner which represents the image of the EFCA.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in financial and other matters.
  • Ability to use complex database software.
  • Ability to spend more than 50% of work time using a keyboard and a computer.
