Campus Ministry Director

About the role

• The individual will be employed by the Coalition for Christian Outreach and in partnership with Lincroft Bible Church, to serve students at Brookdale Community College.
• This is a full-time position (40 hours weekly).
• Benefits (health, dental and vision) and paid sick, vacation and holiday time included.
• This position will require a portion of the salary to be self-support.

Coalition for Christian Outreach (CCO) ministry has a long and healthy history of serving students a Brookdale Community College in partnership with Lincroft Bible Church. We are looking for a campus ministry leader who is ready to jump into an already existing ministry bringing renewed vision, strategy and capacity to grow the CCO ministry and CCO team into the future especially focused on developing strong student leadership. Lincroft Bible Church is ready to mobilize a new generation of volunteers to come alongside the leadership and strategy of this CCO Campus Director to establish college students more deeply into the life of the church and service in the community. Purpose of the position:

Catalyze Kingdom transformation at the local college or university by sharing the gospel, inviting students into the life of the local church and mobilizing the Christian community and churches to engage in ministry on campus. You will develop deep collaboration between church/community members and students that promotes strong biblical discipleship, life-long commitment to the church and the flourishing of Christ’s kingdom in their local context and all areas of life.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree required
• Experience: 5 years of ministry experience required
  • Needs to have the experience to jump into an already existing ministry that has been running for 15 years
  • Needs to demonstrate the ability to build a team of intern/s, apprentices and additional staff
  • Needs to navigate diplomatic relationships with college administrators and other
  • Christian ministry leaders in the region with maturity, clarity of vision and CCO branding yet collaborative

Job Description:

Campus Engagement: Plan and facilitate gatherings of students on campus throughout the week that include prayer, teaching, evangelism, leadership development and applying Scriptures to life in college and beyond.

Church Integration: Connect students into discipleship opportunities and relationships within the church body.

Leadership Development: Disciple and mobilize leaders among students at the local campus and the local church to faithfully live out their faith in service and evangelism.
