Small Groups Pastor
Job Description
Purpose Statement:
To lead people to experience the life Jesus gives by leading Grace Church’s adult small groups.
Responsibilities:
● Lead and cast vision for the small groups ministry at Grace Church (currently more than 50 small groups)
● Develop and maintain systems for assimilating new adults into groups (men, women, married, premarital and affinity groups)
● Coach existing group leaders and equip new group leaders
● Coordinate with the adult ministries assistant and care pastor to provide care for adults in need or crisis
● Provide general pastoral support as needed as part of the pastoral team, including occasional teaching, performing weddings, doing baptisms, providing biblical counsel, etc.
● Oversee other adult education special workshops, seminars and conferences
● Attend weekly planning meetings
● Perform all other duties as assigned by the lead pastor

This grace given to us is nothing we deserve or earn, but is a reflection of the majesty and goodness of the God who created us and loves us.
When we believe in Jesus as our Savior, this moment marks the beginning of a new life we can experience with God. We believe that spiritual growth and maturity is a life-long process of living in partnership with the Holy Spirit and Jesus's people, His "church." Our goal is to experience more and more of the life that Jesus can give to us.
