Associate Pastor for Outreach and Discipleship
Job Description
• The Associate Pastor for Outreach and Discipleship will work with the senior pastor, plan and direct community outreach, and be highly involved in discipleship.
• In addition, the associate pastor will have an active leadership role in the Sunday morning worship service, including regularly scheduled teaching and preaching.
• Ideally, the selected candidate would be able to move into the senior pastor position at a future date.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned.

Grace Church is an Evangelical Free Church in America (EFCA) located in Wasco, California. The church has excellent facilities for the expansion and addition of ministries. The church has a long history of serving the extended rural areas and growing communities that are appropriately 25 miles northwest of Bakersfield. The City of Wasco has a population over 27,000 with more than 87% being Hispanic or Latino. A large portion of the Hispanic population is second or third generation citizens.
