Worship Director

POSITION PROFILE

• Develop an environment of authentic worship and praise at the CrossWinds Church through leading worship, developing worship leaders and encouraging excellence directed toward Jesus.
• This person is responsible for worship on both campuses, including student worship on the Spirit Lake campus.
• To accomplish his job, he needs to develop worship teams that can function under his guidance but lead in his absence.

WORSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

• He will coordinate worship for the Spirit Lake and Spencer campuses.
• He will work with the campus pastors in service planning.
• He will support the multisite vision of CrossWinds Church.
• He will build dynamic worship teams on both campuses.
• Work with the directors of technology to create a Christ-centered worship experience.
• Set annual goals for the worship ministry that correlate to the larger vision of the church.
• Oversee the worship budget.
• Ability to work with Planning Center, Multitracks, ProPresenter and current worship technology.
• Able to choose theologically rich worship songs that are led with modern instrumentation and style.

GENERAL PASTORAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve on the pastoral planning team.
• Participate in the leadership of other ministries as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Is a maturing Christian.
• Is willing to become a member of CrossWinds Church.
• Affirms the EFCA Statement of Faith.
• Affirms CrossWinds Core Values.
• Willing to maintain and develop skills in modern worship.
• Theological education at the bachelor's level is preferred.
• A desire for excellence and continuous improvement.
• Good organizational skills, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Competent in Apple-based technology.
