About this Church
SBCC is dedicated to cultivating a gospel-centered family for God’s glory, God’s people and God’s kingdom. That is our mission—it’s who we are and what we do. We desire to bring people from varied social, economic and church backgrounds into the family of God, centered around the gospel. Our identity, then, is rooted in the worship of God, the maturing of his people and the furtherance of his redemptive plan on earth.
Four values drive this mission: Authentic Worship...because we exist solely for God’s glory. Intentional Disciplemaking...because we all must engage in becoming more like Jesus. Intergenerational Family...because we esteem every age and stage of life in Christ. Community Transformation...because we believe the gospel changes everyone, everything, everywhere.
We are a warm, inviting church of 250+ and one of the few in Door County that have all age groups represented. We have recently completed a nine-month vision casting process that has provided clarity for the next season of ministry, and we are excited to be going deeper spiritually in Christ. This is a perfect time to join us—we are growing, debt-free and looking forward to what God might do through us in Door County.
