Job Description

We’re looking for a full-time worship pastor to join our team and lead the people of Shiloh in authentic, passionate, God-honoring worship. This leader will oversee all aspects of our worship and production ministry, shaping the Sunday morning experience through music, creative planning and strong leadership of a large volunteer team.

The ideal candidate is a spiritually grounded, musically gifted and technically skilled leader who loves the Word of God, thrives in creative environments and leads with both excellence and humility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall vision and leadership for worship at Shiloh Community Church
  • Lead and develop a team of 50+ volunteers in music, production and creative arts
  • Plan and lead engaging Sunday worship services in collaboration with the lead pastor
  • Lead worship vocally and instrumentally with excellence, authenticity and pastoral sensitivity
  • Oversee stage design, set planning and special services (e.g., Christmas, worship nights, Good Friday, etc.)
  • Supervise the AVL manager and collaborate with the communications team on creative elements
  • Oversee the worship and AVL ministry budgets, including purchasing and resource management
  • Ensure excellence in broadcast livestream and in-person service experiences
  • Oversee the use of key ministry software and technology, including:
    • ProPresenter
    • Blackmagic Design systems
    • Waves plugins
    • Loop Community Prime for tracks and click cues
    • Planning Center Online
  • Mentor and care for worship volunteers through discipleship and team culture-building
  • Lead brief devotionals and call-to-worship moments during services

Qualifications

  • A clear and growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a heart for His church
  • Must exhibit the character qualities described in I Timothy 3:1-7 & Titus 1:5-9
  • Alignment with the beliefs and mission of Shiloh Community Church and the EFCA Statement of Faith
  • Proven experience leading worship and managing large volunteer teams (50+ people preferred)
  • Strong musical and vocal proficiency with the ability to lead both band and vocal teams
  • Competence in live production systems (sound, lighting, video and broadcast)
  • Excellent communication, organization and team-building skills
  • A humble, teachable spirit with a servant’s heart
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Term

This is a full-time, ongoing position. In general, fulfilling the time commitment of this role will include time in the office, Sunday morning responsibilities, mid-week evening activities and events, and other meetings.
