About this Church
Calvary Church began in 1962 with a small group of people meeting in a home, united by a desire to plant a gospel-centered church in the St. Charles area. Located in a growing suburban community northwest of St. Louis, Calvary serves a diverse mix of families, longtime residents and those new to the region who are seeking meaningful connection and purpose.
From the beginning, Calvary has been shaped by a heart for practical, local ministry—oil changes for the underserved, food pantries for those in need, community-focused VBS, church fellowships and partnerships that meet real needs. Over the years, the church has grown through vibrant contemporary worship, thriving small groups, a strong emphasis on missions, dynamic children’s and youth ministries and intentional outreach that engages the wider community.
Today, Calvary’s congregation and leaders look confidently toward the future under Christ’s guidance, committed to living out the church’s simple and central conviction: Jesus Matters Most.
