About this Church
Grace Community Church (GCC) exists to glorify God by forging a loving family of believers whose greatest joy and core identity is Jesus Christ. Grace Community Church began in May of 1992 with a few families. In October of 1993 the church joined the EFCA and called its first full-time pastor in May of 1994. Over the next 11 years, GCC continued to grow and decided to build its current facility in 2003. The facility was completed in 2005 and has served as GCC’s home since. In 2009, GCC saw an opportunity to minister to the north side of Lima, Ohio, by planting a church that shared its commitment to biblically based, expository preaching. This came to fruition in 2012 with the founding of a church on the north side of Lima. GCC has continued to grow since then and is committed to and continues to look for ways to minister to its members and the surrounding community.
