Job Description

Purpose Statement: To lead people to experience the life Jesus gives by leading the church’s operations, staff development and finances.

Reports To: Lead Pastor

Responsibilities:

● Ensures the operations of the church are running smoothly
● Develops and improves church systems, including investigating new best church practices as the church grows
● Develops metrics, dashboards and evaluations to measure ministry effectiveness
● Oversees church staff development and hiring
● Works closely with the lead pastor to develop and communicate the church’s vision (short-term goals)
● Takes responsibility for crisis management and communication
● Helps staff to facilitate leadership development of volunteers
● Oversees new construction on the church property and maintenance of current facilities
● Works closely with the business manager to develop budgets and monitor the church’s financial health
● Develop elder council agendas and retreats
● Oversee the church’s local and foreign missions efforts in conjunction with lay ministry teams
● Performs all other duties as assigned by the lead pastor

Work Schedule:

Regular Office Hours, Monday-Thursday and Sundays
40 hours/week
