About this Church
Georgetown is located in the heart of Kentucky's beautiful bluegrass region, approximately 15 minutes north of Lexington and is a rapidly growing area. We own our own building and are debt- and mortgage-free. We are currently a small congregation of 30 to 35 attendees with room for potential growth. Our congregation is made up of biblically mature believers who desire to learn more of the Word of God and apply that knowledge to our lives. We have a heart for world missions and are also involved in local ministries.
Our purpose is to fulfill Christ’s commission to make disciples of all nations, to provide accurate teaching of the entirety of Scripture and to call believers to a lifestyle of walking in a manner worthy of Christ. We desire to provide opportunities for caring relationships among our members and friends and to apply individual and corporate means to reach the lost with the message of Christ. We want to see our church grow and have vibrant children’s and youth ministries, and we desire to create structures that foster a sense of belonging.
