Director of Operations
Job Description
Riverside Community Church is seeking a full-time Director of Operations to oversee and execute the church’s day-to-day administrative functions in support of its gospel-centered mission. This role works closely with the lead pastor and executive team to ensure effectiveness across financial systems, HR processes, communications, staff coordination and facilities management.
The director of operations will manage financial workflows, oversee weekly giving and online platforms, support budgeting processes and liaise with bookkeeping providers. Additional responsibilities include leading church-wide communications, maintaining internal systems, coordinating staff operations, supporting onboarding and payroll processes and overseeing office and facility logistics.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented and experienced in administrative leadership, preferably within a church or nonprofit context. This is a full-time, exempt position primarily based on-site in Columbia, South Carolina.
