Job Description
The EFCA national office is seeking a part-time Donor Services Associate to ensure timely and accurate donation processing, uphold data integrity, manage the receipting process and perform precise data entry in Raiser’s Edge while providing exceptional customer service to internal and external EFCA constituents and supporting the donor services staff.

Duties
- Efficiently process and manage donor contributions from multiple sources, including checks, credit cards, ACH, IRA distributions, donor-advised funds (DAFs), stock transfers and online giving platforms.
- Accurately enter donation information into the Raiser’s Edge database and ensure all contributions are recorded in alignment with donor intent.
- Receipt and acknowledge constituents in a timely and professional manner.
- Update and maintain accurate donor records, ensuring data integrity, completeness and consistency across all financial systems.
- Complete routine database clean-up projects, including revisions, corrections and updates identified through queries or special projects.
- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from donors, internal staff and partner organizations, taking initiative to provide clear information and support.
- Research donation or payment issues, and proactively recommend processes or procedures to prevent recurring problems.
- Provide backup support for donor services tasks as needed to ensure continuity of operations.
- Communicate clearly and professionally by phone, email and in person with internal and external constituents.
- Answer incoming calls and emails, assist with donor questions or concerns, and document all donor communications in the donor database.
- Follow confidentiality policies to safeguard donor and staff information.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the goals of the Donor Services team.
Skills and education requirements
- Alignment with and commitment to the mission and values of the EFCA, demonstrated through a servant‑like attitude.
- Maturity in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- High school diploma required.
- One year of experience working with computers, database management, data entry or other related operations work.
- One year of experience providing customer service and maintaining records.
- Ability to use complex database software and develop system operations knowledge to complete responsibilities efficiently and accurately.
- 10‑key proficiency.
- Ability to work in a financially minded department with accuracy, reliability and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in financial and other matters.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and perform responsibilities under minimal supervision.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external constituents.
- Collaborative and a team player, with a willingness to assist others in a manner that contributes to a cooperative, productive work environment.
