Job Description

The EFCA National Office is seeking a full-time Senior Donor Services Associate to ensure timely and accurate donation processing, uphold data integrity, manage the receipting process and perform precise data entry in Raiser’s Edge. This role provides exceptional customer service to both internal and external EFCA constituents while supporting the donor services team.

Duties

  • Efficiently process and manage donor contributions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with donor intent.
  • Process donations from multiple sources, including checks, credit cards, ACH, IRA distributions, donor-advised funds (DAFs), stock transfers and online giving platforms.
  • Post transactions from the Raiser’s Edge database to the Financial Edge database.
  • Adjust transactions in Raiser’s Edge as needed.
  • Update and maintain accurate donor database records to ensure data accuracy, completeness and reliability.
  • Complete routine database clean-up projects.
  • Take initiative in responding to inquiries from donors, internal staff and partner organizations.
  • Research donation and payment issues, identify resolutions and proactively recommend improved processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with IT to test new data features and system enhancements.
  • Provide training and guidance to Donor Services Associates and offer backup support for donor services tasks as needed.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external constituents via phone, email and in person.
  • Answer incoming calls and emails promptly and assist with donor questions or concerns.
  • Document donor communications in the donor database and follow confidentiality policies to protect donor and staff information.
  • Handle higher-level calls and emails with professionalism and discernment.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills and education requirements

  • Alignment with and commitment to the mission and values of the EFCA, demonstrated through a servant‑like attitude.
  • Maturity in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Two years of experience working with database management, data entry or related operations.
  • Two years of experience providing customer service and maintaining records.
  • Ability to use complex database software.
  • 10-key proficiency.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a financially minded department.
  • Nimble, flexible and disciplined in completing work accurately and on time.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented work style.
