About this Church

Our church was originally registered in North Dakota in 2001 under the name Fargo–Moorhead Chinese Christian Church. In 2016, after moving into our current building in Moorhead, Minnesota, we adopted the name Red River Valley Chinese Christian Church (RRVCCC). Over the years, we have developed a variety of ministries to serve and nurture our congregation. Our current weekly activities include Sunday worship service, adult Sunday school, youth Sunday school, children’s Sunday schools, Wednesday church‑wide prayer meeting and Saturday college student Bible study. On Friday evenings, four Bible study fellowship groups meet in members’ homes—two in north Fargo and two in south Fargo. Most of our brothers and sisters come from mainland China, with a few from Taiwan, Malaysia, and other countries. On a typical Sunday, we welcome about 20–40 adults and 10–20 youth and elementary students. We hold a bilingual worship service and observe the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of each month. Our church government follows a congregational model in which all leaders are accountable to the congregation, and ultimate authority rests with the members. The members entrust church policy, ministry oversight and operational responsibilities to the deacons.
