The applicant will pursue building up the body, navigate challenges and value others as a primary ministry responsibility and goal. Personal discipleship and mentoring through music, spiritually and educationally, is a priority.
Lead by Connection
We desire our worship leader to engage with our multigenerational congregation, not just a select few musicians or like-minded worshippers. It means connecting with the church body who are fallen, redeemed, restored, with a variety of personalities, educational levels and desires. The worship leader will utilize his/her spiritual giftings and musical abilities by embracing the role of exhorter and encourager, teaching and admonishing with wisdom, while collaborating to facilitate vibrant, energetic, joyful and reverent worship gatherings.

The worship leader will encourage meaningful relationships and unity among worship team members and provide opportunities to teach, develop skills and search out potential talent among the congregation. He/she will also develop and foster lay leaders within the worship team.
The worship leader will organize and lead the worship team, give guidance in musical coordination of youth praise and worship, children's church music and provide music related assistance to organizers of VBS, retreats, conferences or other periodic Parkview Church gatherings.
Lead with Style
The worship leader will employ a variety of musical styles, including theologically rich contemporary worship songs and traditional hymns. He/she will aim to pursue musical and programmatic excellence that is both artistic and well-structured. We desire this person to prioritize substance over hype while consistently pointing to God's glory and the gospel. All of this is carried out with a personality that is warm, energetic and genuinely engaging.
