Job Description
Grace Church seeks a Pastor of Discipleship and Worship passionate about fostering spiritual growth through intentional discipleship and congregational worship. This relational role prioritizes equipping families, developing disciplemakers and building multi-generational connections. As a church that loves to sing, worship is valued as a collective response to God rather than a performance with songs selected for theological depth and scriptural alignment.
The pastor of discipleship and worship will dedicate 70–80% of their time to strengthening discipleship. This involves developing processes for all ages, equipping parents as spiritual influencers, supporting ministry leaders and training volunteers. They will also help members use their spiritual gifts and foster intergenerational relationships.
The remaining 20–30% focuses on worship and pastoral leadership. Duties include training worship teams, leading music monthly, and preaching up to 12 times annually. The pastor will also join the leadership team, serve alongside the elders and senior pastor, and contribute to the church's overall vision and ministry.
