About the Opportunity
We are seeking a full-time next gen pastor to build upon an already healthy and growing ministry to middle school, high school and young adults. God has graciously provided a solid foundation. Our student ministry currently serves approximately 35–60+ students each week and is supported by an outstanding team of 11 committed adult leaders, an active student leadership team and parents who desire to partner in the discipleship of their children. Our young adult ministry "18.24" is established and ready for greater clarity, intentionality and continued growth.
We're looking for a pastor who can honor what God has already built while thoughtfully leading the ministry into its next chapter.
Rather than simply maintaining programs, you'll help cultivate a discipleship culture where students know Scripture, leaders are equipped, parents are engaged and young adults become deeply connected to the life and mission of the local church.
What You'll Be Doing
As our next gen pastor, you will:
- Teach God's Word with clarity, conviction and practical application
- Shepherd middle school, high school and young adult ministries through relational discipleship
- Invest in and develop adult volunteer leaders
- Mentor and equip student leaders for meaningful ministry
- Build strong partnerships with parents
- Continue developing our growing young adult ministry
- Help students transition naturally into adult involvement within Trinity through worship, membership, service, missions and community groups
- Collaborate closely with our pastoral staff, elders, ministry leaders and congregation to ensure the next generation is fully integrated into the life of the church—not treated as a separate ministry
Who We're Looking For

- Someone who teaches the Bible faithfully without watering down the gospel
- Someone who enjoys developing leaders instead of simply doing ministry alone
- Someone who appreciates healthy ministry, listens well, values collaboration and desires to strengthen an existing foundation rather than start from scratch
- Previous student ministry experience is strongly preferred, as is familiarity with the EFCA or churches with similar theology and philosophy of ministry. A bachelor's degree in Bible, theology, ministry or a related field is expected

Compensation & Benefits
Full-time pastoral position
Salary: $55,000–$65,000+ (commensurate with experience)

About this Church
Trinity Church is a growing, multigenerational Evangelical Free Church located in Eustis, Florida, serving the Golden Triangle communities of Eustis, Mount Dora and Tavares—approximately 45 minutes northwest of Orlando. Around 300 people gather each week, creating a church that is large enough to sustain meaningful ministry across generations while remaining small enough for people to be genuinely known, loved and equipped to serve.
Since 1983, our mission has remained simple: Faithfully open God's Word, point people to Jesus Christ, build authentic relationships and equip ordinary believers for everyday ministry. We are grateful for our history, but we are equally excited about what God is continuing to do as our church grows and reaches our community.
As an Evangelical Free Church, Scripture is our final authority. Our preaching is primarily expositional, our ministries are Bible-centered and we desire every aspect of church life to be shaped by the gospel.
