Director of Children Ministries
Job Description
The Director of Children’s Ministry provides vision for spiritual development and organizational leadership for Bethany’s children (nursery through fifth grade), by ensuring a nurturing, safe and gospel-centered environment where children begin a life-long relationship with Jesus Christ and are taught God’s Word. Families are supported as their children’s primary spiritual influencers.
Although the primary focus is the children’s ministry within the church, the director will also have opportunity to support the families whose children attend Bethany Christian Academy and preschool. This overall role is primarily focused on building systems, equipping a dynamic team of volunteers and cultivating an atmosphere that encourages growth and spiritual formation for children and families.
