Pastor of Care and Counseling
Job Description
Purpose
This position exists to equip, develop and oversee lay leaders who provide care and counseling within the church body, while also offering direct counseling and care as needed. This position is not a care pastor position nor is it primarily a counseling position. The primary focus will be developing people in the areas of care and counseling.
Qualifications
This position requires an individual with the heart and skill of a shepherd with the wisdom to counsel, equip and develop staff and lay leaders. This person should have proven experience in counseling as well as developing leadership teams.
