Communications Manager

Are you passionate about communication, storytelling and ministry? Do you have a gift for crafting messages that inspire, inform and connect people? At The Orchard, we believe stories of lives changed can point people to Jesus. We're seeking a Communications Manager to lead and coordinate internal and external communications that support our mission, strengthen engagement and help communicate the vision God has given our church. This role is ideal for a creative, organized leader who enjoys collaborating with ministry teams, managing projects and leveraging modern communication tools to reach people effectively.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with church leadership to create effective communication strategies and messaging.
• Tell the story of The Orchard through life-change stories, video, social media, interviews, newsletters and digital content.
• Support pastors and ministry leaders in communicating vision, priorities and ministry initiatives.
• Implement and evaluate communications that align with The Orchard's mission, vision, values and brand.
• Stay current with emerging communication trends, tools and strategies.
• Oversee the communications budget and lead the communications team.

What We're Looking For

• A growing follower of Jesus with a solid understanding of the gospel.
• Alignment with the EFCA Statement of Faith and The Orchard's Statement on Human Life and Marriage.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, creative writing or a related field.
• Three or more years of communications, marketing or public relations experience.
• Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Strong verbal communication and project management abilities.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Self-starter with a positive, collaborative attitude.
• Local church or ministry communications experience is a plus.
