Position Overview
Montvale Church is seeking a passionate, Christ-centered Worship & Technology Director to help lead our congregation in biblical, authentic and joyful worship.
We believe worship is far more than music on Sunday morning—it is a life lived for the glory of God. Above musical talent or technical expertise, we are looking for someone who deeply loves Jesus, demonstrates godly character and desires to help others know and worship Him.
The Worship & Technology Director will provide spiritual, musical and technical leadership for our worship ministry, cultivating a healthy team culture and creating an environment where the congregation is encouraged to participate wholeheartedly in worship.
Position: Full-Time
Reports to: Lead Pastor
Compensation: Competitive salary and benefits, commensurate with experience
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and lead weekly worship services in collaboration with the lead pastor.
- Select biblically faithful, theologically rich music, embracing both traditional hymns and contemporary worship.
- Recruit, equip and disciple worship team members and volunteers.
- Oversee audio, video, lighting, livestream and presentation technologies.
- Develop and support volunteer production teams.
- Foster a collaborative, prayerful and encouraging ministry culture.
Ideal Candidate
We are seeking someone who demonstrates:
- A vibrant, growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a servant's heart.
- Musical proficiency and experience leading congregational worship.
- Working knowledge of worship production and church technology.
- Strong organizational, communication and leadership abilities.
- A passion for developing people and building healthy teams.
- Agreement with the doctrine, mission and values of Montvale Evangelical Free Church.
