Worship Leader
Job Description
Time Commitment: 10 hours a week
• Oversee the music and worship ministry teams
• Lead worship 3-4 times a month
• Can lead from an instrument (guitar or keys)
• Play or sing on team when not leading (off team completely every 6-8 weeks)
• Has good relational as well as musical skills
• Has a good grasp of a biblical definition of worship
• Can train and develop current and potential worship team members
• Under the supervision of and coordinating with the Lead Pastor
• Reports the Elder Board
About this Church
NorthLight Community Church is a new church in a bedroom community of Rochester, MN (120,000+). We recently celebrated five years of public worship. Byron is a middle to upper-middle-class community.
Our biggest demographic is families with school-aged children. Our community and schools are growing steadily.
Our core values are Radical Dependence, Life Transformation, Compassionate Service and Intentional Multiplication.
Our motto is "Byron and Beyond." Our heartbeat is reaching our community and multiplying disciples, leaders and churches. We have assisted two other local church plants and we support church planting ministries in India and Germany.
