About this Church
Valley Church is a Christ-centered church in the heart of West Des Moines, Iowa. Valley Church started in 1990 with three couples, and through living out the statement: “We do good works to build good will to share good news,” the church has grown to 2000+ weekly attenders.
In 2,000, the church constructed their current 70,000 sq. ft. facility, and in 2013, they opened up the Valley Community Center across the street from the church as a gift to the community that welcomes more than 150,000 guests annually as part of the goal to impact as many people as possible in the Des Moines area.
Through the 2024 Make Room expansion initiative, Valley Church is in the process of additions and renovations in order to make more room for: God to move, to be family and to grow the family.
